Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of levosimendan combined with mechanical ventilation in the treatment of severe heart failure in ICU.Methods 52 patients with severe heart failure who were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit(ICU) of our hospital from April 2018 to April 2019 were selected as the research object,26 cases each.Both groups of patients were given conventional treatment for heart failure,the control group received mechanical ventilation,and the experimental group was treated with levosimendan combined with mechanical ventilation.Before treatment and after 7 days of treatment,the changes of blood gas indexes(PaCO2,SaO2,PaO2),cardiac function indexes(SV,LVESD,LVEDD,LVEF),hemodynamic indexes(MPAP,PCWP,CO,CVP) of the two groups of patients were compared.Results After 7 days of intervention,the PaO2,SaO2,LVEF,SV,and CO values of the two groups of patients were significantly higher than before the intervention,and the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group at the same time(P<0.05).PaCO2,LVESD,LVEDD,MPAP,PCWP,CVP values were significantly lower than before treatment,and the experimental group was significantly lower than the control group at the same time(P<0.05).Conclusion Levosimendan combined with mechanical ventilation in the treatment of severe heart failure in ICU has a significant clinical effect,which can effectively improve the patient's cardiac function and is conducive to its good prognosis.
