Abstract:Objective To explore the correlation between high-risk HPV infection, thinprep cytology test detection and cervical lesions in women in Zhongshan city. Methods 2756 HPV positive patients were selected as the study subjects, which all patients underwent thinprep cytology test,HPV and pathological examination. The pathological examination was used as the gold standard to study the relationship among the three. Results The positive rate of cervical lesions detected by TCT was 13.90%,and there were 112 patients with high-risk HPV16/18 type accounting for 29.24%.There were significant difference in the infection rate of high-risk HPV detected by TCT in each group(P<0.05).The high-risk HPV infection rate in HSIL group was higher than that in LSIL group(P<0.05).The positive rates of TCT detection for different cervical lesions from high to low were cervical cancer,HSIL,LSIL,cervicitis and no abnormal(P<0.05).The positive coincidence rate of TCT and high-risk HPV combined test was higher than that of single TCT or high-risk HPV test(P<0.05).The positive coincidence rates of single TCT test,high-risk HPV test and combined test for different cervical lesions from high to low were cervical cancer,HSIL and LSIL(P<0.05).Conclusion Persistent infection of high-risk HPV is the main pathogenic factor for cervical cancer and cervical lesions, and the combined detection of TCT and high-risk HPV is conducive to the early diagnosis of cervical lesions.
