Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of pre-hospital first aid training for aged care workers and survey of their employment needs, and provide strategic measures for standardizing the team of elderly care workers in order to respond to aging actively. Methods 113 nursing staff were trained in pre hospital first aid skills for five days, and then the effect was analyzed. Results Aged care workers who participated in the training were more satisfied with the teaching plan(97.3%) and the teaching content(96.5%),while the satisfaction with the training duration(45.1%) was low,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The demand rate of higher wages, more training, less working hours and lower intensity was higher in people over 45 years old than in that under 45 years old (61.4% VS 38.5%,66.6% VS 33.3%,58.1% VS 30.8%,64.3% VS 35.7%),and the demand rate of qualification recognition was lower than that of people under 45 years old (82.5% VS 17.5%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The demand rate of people with elementary school and below education level for training is higher than that of aged care workers with junior high school education and above(52.4% VS 47.6%),and the demand for qualification certification is lower than that of aged care workers with junior high school education and above(82.5% VS 17.5%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion It is a good strategy to deal with the aging actively by building the aged care workers, improving the training system and standardizing the nursing profession.
