Abstract:Objective To explore the influencing factors of asthma control level in elderly patients with bronchial asthma(BA). Methods 83 elderly BA patients who were treated divided into a well-controlled asthma group(n=51)and a poorly controlled asthma group(n=32)according to their asthma control level, and the influencing factors of poor asthma control in elderly BA patients were analyzed. Results According to the assessment of asthma control level,51 of the 83 patients had good asthma control, accounting for 61.45%.There were 32 cases of asthma with poor control, accounting for 38.55%.The results of univariate analysis and multiple Logistic regression analysis showed that anxiety, smoking history and medication compliance were generally the influencing factors for poor asthma control in elderly BA patients(OR>1,P<0.05). Conclusion Anxiety, smoking history and medication compliance are generally the influencing factors of poor asthma control in elderly BA patients.Based on this, active intervention measures can be taken clinically to strengthen the level of asthma control in patients with BA.
