Abstract:Objective To investigate the differential diagnosis value of multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT)and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)between cirrhotic nodules and small liver cancer.Methods The clinical data of 87 cases(109 lesions)with cirrhosis were retrospectively analyzed.All patients underwent MSCT and MRI examination,and the operative pathological Resultswere used as the gold standard.The diagnostic Resultsof MSCT and MRI were compared,and the sensitivity,specificity,accuracy,negative and positive predictive values of the two Methodswere compared.Results The specificity(94.03%),accuracy(93.58%)and positive predictive value(90.70%)of MRI examination were higher than that of MSCT(94.03%,93.58%,73.91%)(P<0.05).The sensitivity and negative predictive value(MRI:92.86%,95.45%)of the two examinations were higher than that of MSCT(94.03%,93.58%,73.91%).MSCT:80.95%,87.30%)showed no significant difference(Pall>0.05).Conclusion MRI has higher differential diagnostic value than MSCT in the diagnosis of cirrhosis nodules and small hepatocellular carcinoma.
