| Comparison of Effects of Vitapex Paste and Zinc Oxide Root Canal Paste In the Treatment of Children With Chronic Diseases of Periapical Tissue of Deciduous Teeth Sinus Tract |

Abstract Objective To analyze the effects of Vitapex paste and zinc oxide root canal paste on children with chronic diseases of periapical tissue（DPT）of deciduous teeth sinus tract. Methods A total of 130 children patients with DPT of deciduous teeth sinus tract who were divided into the group A and the group B according to the random number table method,with 65 cases in each group.The group A was treated with Vitapex paste treatment while the group B was treated with zinc oxide root canal paste.The curative effect evaluation of non-acute reaction rate within one week after surgery and success rate of reexamination at half a year after surgery were compared between the two groups. Results The non-acute response rate was 93.85% in the group A and 90.77% in the group B,and there was no comparable difference in the overall curative effect between the two groups（P>0.05）.The success rate was 95.38% in the group A and was 92.31% in the group B,and there was no comparable difference in the efficacy evaluation between the two groups（P>0.05）. Conclusion Vitapex paste has similar effects with zinc oxide root canal paste in treating chronic DPT of deciduous teeth sinus tract,and the two methods have relatively mild response of children after root filling,thus parents can choose surgical methods according to their needs.
