Effect of Breath Training Device Combined With Bedside Sitting on Diaphragm Function of ICU Patients With Mechanical Ventilation |

Abstract Objective To explore the effect of breath training device combined with bedside sitting on diaphragm function of ICU patients with mechanical ventilation. Methods A total of 100 cases of ICU patients were retrospectively selected as the research objects.According to the random method,the research objects were divided into control group(48 cases)and observation group(52 cases).The observation group received the nursing mode of breath training device combined with bedside sitting method,and the intervention time was two weeks.After two weeks,the improvement of arterial blood gas indexes,diaphragm mobility,mechanical ventilation time,ICU stay and quality of life(SF-36)were observed in both groups. Results ① Arterial blood gas indexes:after intervention,the improvement degree of PaCO2,PACO2,PaO2 and PAO2 in observation group was better than that in control group(P<0.05).② Diaphragm mobility:after intervention,diaphragm mobility in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).③Duration of mechanical ventilation and ICU hospitalization:after intervention,the duration of mechanical ventilation and ICU hospitalization in the observation group were less than those in the control group(P<0.05).④SF-36:after intervention,the scores of pain,health status,vitality and social function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of breath training device combined with bedside sitting method can improve the arterial blood gas indexes,increase diaphragm mobility,reduce the duration of mechanical ventilation and hospital stay,and improve the quality of life of ICU patients with mechanical ventilation,which is of great significance for improving clinical nursing measures.
