| High-Risk Factors of Focal White Matter Injury in Late Preterm Infants and Their Influence on the Development of Nervous System |

Abstract Objective To analyze the high-risk factors of premature infants with focal white matter damage（PWMD）and its influence on the development of nervous system.Methods 86 premature infants were selected for retrospective study,43 premature infants with PWMD as the observation group and 43 premature infants with normal MBI as the control group.The gestational age,birth weight,clinical data and other factors of premature infants in PWMD were analyzed,the disease degree of premature infants in PWMD was observed,the high-risk influencing factors of PWMD were discussed,and the nerve development status of the two groups was compared,including mental development index,MDI）and periodontal disease index,PDI）.Results By Logistic regression analysis,The results showed that maternal infection during pregnancy,the choice of cesarean section and the history of fetal asphyxia were independent influencing factors of PWMD（P<0.05）.The nerve development of observation group is better than that of control group,and its MDI and PDI scores are lower than that of control group,with significant difference（P<0.05）.Conclusion There are many influencing factors of PWMD in premature infants,among which the high-risk factors are pregnancy infection,asphyxia history,cesarean section,However,gestational age and birth weight both affect the occurrence of PWMD disease and the development of children's nervous system,which needs attention.
