Abstract：Objective To observe the irritable patients with a combination of trimebutine maleate with Clostridium butyricum tablets the clinical effect of treatment of irritable bowel syndrome. Methods in 182 cases as the research object,randomly divided into observation group（n=92）and control group（n=90）,were treated with basic treatment in all the patients after admission,the control group treated with trimebutine treatment in the observation group,the control group on the basis of Clostridium butyricum and treatment,the incidence of clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of two groups were observed in patients with clinical symptoms. Results After treatment,the recovery time of diarrhea,abdominal pain and recovery time of stool were significantly earlier than the control group（P<0.01）.The total effective rate of the observation group（90.22%）was significantly higher than that of the control group（76.67%）（P<0.05）.There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions（5.43%）between the observation group and the adverse reactions（7.77%）in the control group（P>0.05）. Conclusion The combination of trimebutine maleate and Clostridium butyricum in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome can effectively alleviate the symptoms of diarrhea and abdominal pain,improve stool characteristics,have significant clinical effects,and has high drug safety.It can be used as a clinical treatment.One of the common treatment options for irritable bowel syndrome.
