Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of acupuncture therapy in patients with thoracic facet joint disorders. Methods Selected 110 cases of thoracic small joint disorders,using random number table method will be divided into massage group and acupuncture combined massage group,both groups are included in 55 cases,technique massage group patients with massage treatment,acupuncture combined massage group patients with acupuncture combined massage treatment,two groups of patients are treated for 1 week.Clinical efficacy,pain level,joint mobility,and quality of life were recorded in both groups. Results The therapeutic effect of acupuncture was 96.36% and 83.64%,significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the pain grading index(PRI)and current pain intensity(PPI)scale in the acupuncture and massage group were lower compared with the manipulation group,showing a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The joint mobility of acupuncture combined with massage group was better than that of the massage manipulation group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the quality of life of acupuncture combined with massage group improved better than the manipulation group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05). Conclusion The treatment of thoracic small joint disorder has a good effect,which can improve the joint mobility of patients,reduce the pain level and improve the quality of life.
