The Effect of Parecoxib Combined With DEX Preemptive Analgesia on Serum IL-1β and TNF-α Levels in Elderly Patients Undergoing Total Hip Replacement Surgery

Abstract:Objective To study the effect of parecoxib combined with dexmedetomidine(DEX)preemptive analgesia on serum interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in elderly patients undergoing total hip replacement surgery. Methods A total of 106 elderly patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to a random number table method,53 cases in each group.The control group was treated with DEX for preemptive analgesia,and the observation group was treated with parecoxib at the same time.The postoperative pain score changes,inflammation-related factors levels and adverse drug reactions were observed in the two groups. Results After preemptive analgesia,the pain scores at 6h,12h,and 24h after surgery in the two groups were lower than those before surgery.The pain scores at 6h,12h,and 24h after surgery in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of IL-1β and TNF-α in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion The preemptive analgesia of parecoxib combined with DEX can significantly alleviate patients' pain,help control the level of postoperative inflammation,and will not cause serious adverse reactions.
