Abstract:Objective To explore the detection value of morphological indexes of sesamoid axial position under X-ray in patients with halux valgus.Methods A total of 69 patients with halux valgus were enrolled.All underwent halux valgus orthopedics.Before and after surgery,X-ray photography of sesamoid axial position was conducted.The position and rotation angle of sesamoids before and after surgery were measured.The foot deformity degree in patients with halux valgus was evaluated.The correlation between morphological indexes of sesamoid axial position and the diagnosis of patients with halux valgus was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis.Results After surgery,axial position and rotation angle of sesamoids,and the position of tibial sesamoid were significantly decreased (P<0.05).The sesamoid position of sesamoid axial position,rotation angle of sesamoid and position of tibial sesamoid in sesamoid reduction group were significantly lower than those in sesamoid non-reduction group (P<0.05).Pearson correlation coefficient analysis showed that sesamoid position of sesamoid axial position was weakly correlated with position of tibial sesamoid (P<0.05),while strongly correlated with rotation angle of sesamoid (P<0.05).The position of tibial sesamoid is moderately correlated with rotation angle of sesamoid (P<0.05).Conclusion As morphological indexes of sesamoid axial position under X-ray,sesamoid position of sesamoid axial position and rotation angle of sesamoid can supplement the defects of weightbearing tangential radiograph,reflec severity of foot deformity and postoperative sesamoid reduction in patients with halux valgus.
