Abstract:Objective To observe the effects of intracranialXiaoyudecoction combined with acupuncture and moxibustion on cerebral blood perfusion and activities of daily living of patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI)hemiplegia. Methods A total of 108 patients with ACI hemiplegia were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the study group(n=54)and the control group(n=54)according to the random number table method. The control group was given acupuncture and moxibustion, whereas the study group was combined with intracranialXiaoyu Decoction on the basis of the control group. After 1 month of treatment, the cerebral blood perfusion status[average blood flow velocity(Vm)of anterior cerebral artery(ACA),middlecerebral artery(MCA)and posterior cerebralartery(PCA)],activities of daily living(Barthei index),motor function score(FMA)and stroke specific quality of life score(SS-QOL)were observed and compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results After 1 month of treatment, the Vm values of ACA,MCA,and PCA of the two groupswere lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the values in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of BI,FMA and SS-QOL in the two groups were higher than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores in study group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05). Conclusion IntracranialXiaoyudecoction combined with acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of ACI hemiplegia can effectively improve the cerebral blood perfusion and activities of daily living, and can improve the motor functionof affected limb and quality of life. Therefore,it is worthy of further clinical promotion.
