Abstract：Objective To study clinical curative effect of Xinningdan combined with metoprolol on premature ventricular contraction（PVC）.Methods A total of 70 PVC patients who were admitted to the hospital were enrolled.They were divided into study group and control group,35 cases in each group.The control group was treated with metoprolol,while study group was treated with Xinningfang Decoction combined with metoprolol.One month was defined as a course of treatment.They were treated for 3 courses.All indexes were compared between the two groups.Results The total response rate of clinical curative effect in study group was significantly higher than that in control group（91.43% vs 71.43%）（P<0.05）.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in heart rate or occurrence times of PVC between the two groups（P>0.05）.After treatment,heart rate of patients in study group was significantly slower than that in control group,and occurrence times of PVC was also significantly decreased（P<0.05）.There were 4 cases and 5 cases with adverse reactions in study group and control group,respectively（P>0.05）.Conclusion The curative effect of Xinningfang Decoction combined with metoprolol is better than that of metoprolol alone on PVC,which is of certain safety and few effect on patients.It can effectively alleviate patients' condition.
