Abstract:Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)and magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)in acute cervical spinal cord injury without fracture and dislocation. Methods Retrospective analysis treated the patients with acute cervical cord injury without fracture dislocation of the clinical data of 70 cases, adopt the X-ray and CT examination, fracture detection, then using MRI and DTI examination, confirmed that patients with cervical spinal injury, patients with measuring apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC)and anisotropic scores(FA),The Japanese Orthopaedic Association evaluation treatment(JOA)score was recorded to analyze the correlation between apparent dispersion coefficient(ADC)and anisotropy score(FA)and JOA score. Results There were 12 grade ⅰ patients,21 grade ⅱ patients,22 grade ⅲ patients and 15 grade ⅳ patients in 70 patients with acute cervical spinal cord injury without fracture and dislocation.Different signal characteristics of patients at different levels; There were statistically significant differences in ADC and FA values among JOA grades(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that ADC value had no significant correlation with JOA score(r=0.197,P=0.058).FA was positively correlated with JOA score(r=0.869,P=0.000). Conclusion DTI can feedback the pathological process of cervical spinal cord injury without fracture and dislocation, evaluate the severity of patients' disease by FA index, and provide a basis for the judgment of prognosis.
