Clinical Observation of Percutaneous Intraluminal Balloon Angioplasty and Vascular Stent Implantation in the Treatment of Lower Extremity Arteriosclerosis Obliterans
Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of percutaneous transluminal balloon angioplasty(PTA)and vascular stent implantation in patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans(ASO). Methods A total of 60 ASO patients treated in our hospital were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table method,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with PTA,and the observation group was treated with PTA and vascular stent implantation. The clinical efficacy,ankle/brachial index(ABI),claudication distance, quality of life, complications and target lesion revascularization rate(TLR)were compared between the two groups. Results The postoperative health survey short form(SF-36)score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the TLR was lower than that of the control group, with statistical differences(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in the total incidence(P>0.05). Conclusion The treatment effect of PTA or PTA combined with vascular stent implantation in ASO patients is similar, but PTA combined with vascular stent implantation in ASO patients can reduce TLR and improve the quality of life of patients, which can be used as a more effective interventional operation for the treatment of ASO.
