Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of continuous intensive insulin pump therapy on blood glucose control and neonatal delivery outcome in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM). Methods 70 GDM patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group,35 cases in each group; The control status of fasting plasma glucose(FPG)and plasma glucose 2 hours after meal(2hPG)were compared between the two groups. Results FPG and 2hPG decreased after treatment, and the decrease in observation group was more obvious than that in control group(P<0.05).The total adverse outcome of neonatal delivery in the observation group(14.29%)was significantly lower than that in the control group(37.14%)(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse events in the observation group(20.00%)was significantly lower than that in the control group(42.86%)(P<0.05). Conclusion Continuous intensive treatment of GDM patients with insulin pump can effectively control blood glucose, reduce the incidence of adverse neonatal outcomes and maternal adverse events.
