AbstractObjective To study the curative effect of flupentixol and melitracen tablets combined with mosapride in the treatment of functional dyspepsia(FD). Methods 128 patients with FD treated were randomly divided into group A(65 cases)and group B(63 cases).Group A were treated with flupentixol and melitracen tablets combined with mosapride, while group B orally took mosapride. The curative effect and adverse reactions were observed. The gastric emptying rates and gastrointestinal hormones [vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP),substance P(SP),motilin(MTL)] before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total response rate in group A was 93.85%,higher than 80.95% in group B(P<0.05).After treatment, the gastric emptying rates of the two groups increased significantly, and group A had a higher gastric emptying rate than group B(P<0.05).After treatment,VIP decreased significantly, while SP and MTL increased significantly, all of which were better in group A than in group B(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(10.77% vs.6.35%)(P>0.05)). Conclusion Flupentixol and melitracen tablets combined with mosapride is effective in the treatment of FD,which can significantly improve the patients' gastrointestinal hormone levels and gastric emptying rate, with high safety.
