Abstract Objective To explore the effects of Xinbikeduobao on lung function and inflammatory response in patients with bronchiectasis(BE). Methods 80 BE patients admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into two groups using numerical expression,with 40 patients in each group.The control group received basic symptomatic supportive treatment,and based on this,the study group received additional treatment with Xinbikeduobao for 4 weeks.The efficacy,lung function,blood gas analysis indicators,inflammatory response,and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results showed that the effective rate,FEV₁,MVV,FVC,SaO₂,and PaO₂ of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05),while the PaCO₂,IL-8,CRP,TNF-α,and SGRQ scores were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Xinbikeduobao has a definite therapeutic effect in the treatment of BE,which can reduce inflammatory reactions,improve lung function and blood gas indicators,and enhance quality of life.
