| Case Report Analysis of Hepatitis C Virus in Heilongjiang Province From 2011-2020 |

Abstract Objective To analyze the reported hepatitis C cases in Heilongjiang province from 2011 to 2020,thus providing evidence to policy making.Methods The data of hepatitis C cases were collected from the disease prevention andcontrol information system and its epidemic characteristics and data quality were analyzed.Results 49386 cases of hepatitis Cwere reported during 2011-2020 in Heilongjiang.The number of reported cases decreased from 5604 in 2011 to 2837 in 2020,withan average annual decline of 7.28%,and the cases reported in all the 13 cities of the province.The number of reported cases in the top threecities (Harbin,Qiqihar,Suihua),reported the incidence rate of the top three cities (Heihe,Qigihar and Shuangyashan).There were no obvious seasonal characteristics,the disease occurs in all four seasons.In each year,the number of men was more than that of women.80.16% of the patients were 50 years old and above.Farmers accounted for the largest proportion of the patients(45.25%).Conclusion The incidence of hepatitis C reported in Heilongjiang during 2011-2020 showed a downward trend,and the differences seem in different areas.Middle-aged and elderly people and farmers are the key groups of hepatitis C infection.We should attach importance to the hepatitis C epidemic in key areas and key groups,improve the public's awareness of hepatitis C and disease prevention ability,and find and treat hepatitis C infected people to the maximum extent.
