Clinical Observation of Emergency Escharectomy and Skin Grafting Combined with rh-bFGF in Treatment of Middle and Small Area Deep Burn |

Abstract Objective To study the effectS of emergency escharectomy and skin grafting combined with recombinant human basic fibroblast growth factor(rh-bFGF)on middle and small area deep burn wounds. Methods 142 cases of patients with middle and small area deep burn treated in our hospital were selected for the study and divided into the escharectomy and skin grafting group(n=71)and the combined group(escharectomy and skin grafting combined with rh-bFGF,n=71)according to the different treatment method.The operation condition,skin graft survival rate,inflammatory reactions,allergic reactions,wound tissue fibroblast(FB)and capillary count were compared between the two groups. Results The mean operative area in the combined group was not significantly different from that in the control group [(17.81±4.92)% vs(17.39±4.86)% ](P>0.05).The skin survival rate of the combined group was significantly higher than that of the control group(100% vs 91.55%)(P<0.05).The healing rate of the combined group at 15d and 20d was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the average healing time was significantly shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05).The positive rate of inflammatory reactions in the control group was higher than that in the combined group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the positive rate of allergic reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).The number of FB and capillaries in the wound showed an upward trend(P<0.05),and the number of FB and capillaries in the wound tissues at 14d and 21d after operation in the combined group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Emergency escharectomy and skin grafting combined with rh-bFGF can reduce the wounds inflammatory reaction,and promote the FB proliferation and angiogenesis and accelerate the healing of wounds in the patients with middle and small area deep burn.
