Abstract:Objective To study the effect of painless delivery on the labor process of primipara and umbilical blood gas index of newborn. Methods A total of 60 primiparas were selected as research objects.According to their fertility intention, the primiparas were divided into painless delivery group(n=27)and conventional delivery group(n=33).Ropivacaine and sufentanil were used for analgesia in the painless delivery group, while no analgesia was used in the conventional delivery group. The general condition, pain condition, umbilical blood gas index of newborn, maternal and infant outcome were compared between the two groups. Results The first time of getting out of bed in painless labor group was shorter than that in conventional labor group, and the second stage of labor and total stage of labor were longer than that in conventional labor group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the first stage of labor, the third stage of labor and the length of hospital stay between the two groups(P>0.05).There was statistically significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups before and after delivery(P<0.05),and painless delivery group scored lower. There was no significant difference in PaO2,BE,pH and lactic acid between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the maternal and infant outcomes between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusions Painless delivery is helpful to alleviate the pain of primipara in labor, promote the activity of getting out of bed as soon as possible, and has little impact on the umbilical blood gas index of newborn. It does not significantly lead to adverse maternal and infant outcomes, but can prolong the labor process.
