Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of goal-directed rehabilitation training in the functional reconstruction of walking in patients with incomplete spinal cord injury(SCI).Methods A total of 86 patients diagnosed with incomplete SCI admitted to Shanghai Hudong Hospital from January 2021 to January 2026 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into groups using a random number table. The control group(n=43)received conventional rehabilitation training, while the observation group(n=43)received goal-directed rehabilitation training in addition to conventional rehabilitation training.Clinical outcomes, including motor function, balance function, and activities of daily living(ADL),were compared. Results The total effective rate in the observation group was 95.35%,significantly higher than that in the control group(69.77%)(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of the 6-minute walk test(6MWT),10-meter walk test(10MWT),WISCI scale,Fugl-Meyer score,Berg score, and Barthel Index in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Goal-directed rehabilitation training can effectively improve the walking function of patients with incomplete SCI,enhance their motor and balance functions, and demonstrate good therapeutic effects and high clinical value.
