Abstract:Objective To investigate the occurrence of delirium in intensive care unit(ICU)patients after general anesthesia, and to analyze its related risk factors,in order to provide a reference for patients to take preventive measures. Methods 156 patients after general anesthesia were selected.12 hours after the operation, the ICU Confusion Assessment Scale(CAM-ICU)was used to assess whether the patients had delirium.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the independent risk factors for delirium. Results Among 156 patients after general anesthesia,62 patients were confirmed to have delirium after CAM-ICU assessment, and the incidence of delirium was 39.74%;Univariate analysis showed that the delirium group had statistics in age, acute physiology and chronic health score Ⅱ(APACHE-Ⅱ)score,history of hypertension, mechanical ventilation time, length of stay in ICU,application of sedative drugs, etc.compared with the non-delirium group Difference(P<0.05);According to multivariate Logistic regression analysis,Age,APACHE-Ⅱ score, history of hypertension, mechanical ventilation time ≥6 h,length of stay in ICU,and application of sedative drugs were all independent risk factors that affected the occurrence of delirium in ICU patients after general anesthesia(P<0.05). Conclusion The incidence of delirium is higher in ICU patients after general anesthesia.Among them, patients with age ≥ 65 years of age,APACHE-Ⅱ score, history of hypertension, mechanical ventilation time ≥ 6 hours,ICU hospitalization time, and sedative drugs have more cases of delirium.Correct preventive measures can be taken according to the appeal factors to reduce the occurrence of delirium.
