Abstract:Objective To compare the value of Braden Scale,Acute Physiological and Chronic Health Score-ⅱ(APACHE-Ⅱ)in assessing the risk of pressure sore in patients with acute cerebral infarction during bed rest. Methods 70 patients with acute cerebral infarction were selected. When the patients were awake,Braden scale and APACHE-Ⅱ scale were used to evaluate the risk of pressure sores during bed rest, and the general information and the occurrence of pressure sores were analyzed.Compare the above two scales to evaluate the occurrence value of pressure sore in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Results There were 13 cases(18.57%)of 70 cases with acute cerebral infarction in bed and 57 cases(81.43%)without pressure sores. The Braden score of the occurrence group was lower than that of the non-occurrence group, and the APACHE-Ⅱ score was higher than that of the non-occurrence group(P<0.05).The ROC curve graph showed that the AUC of Braden scale and APACHE-Ⅱ scale in assessing the risk of pressure sores in patients with acute cerebral infarction during bed rest was 0.814 and 0.832,respectively,which was ideal, and the AUC of APACHE-Ⅱ scale was greater than that of Braden scale. Conclusion APACHE-Ⅱ has a higher value than Braden scale in assessing the risk of pressure sore during bed rest in patients with acute cerebral infarction.
