Abstract:Objective To observe the effects of laparoscopic nephron-sparing surgery(LNSS) on renal function and prognosis of patients with stage T2 renal cancer. Methods A total of 70 patients with stage T2 renal cancer treated were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, with 35 cases in each group.Control group underwent open surgery, and observation group underwent LNSS.The changes of renal function indexes [urea nitrogen(BUN),blood creatinine(SCr)] were compared between the two groups before surgery and at 7d after surgery. The surgical status(operative time, postoperative drainage tube indwelling time, postoperative hospital stay),occurrence of complications within 7d after surgery and prognosis(recurrence rate, survival rate) at 1 year after surgery were analyzed in the two groups. Results At 7d after surgery, the BUN and SCr in the two groups were significantly improved compared with those before surgery, and the indexes in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The operative time, postoperative drainage tube indwelling time and postoperative hospital stay in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Within 7d after surgery, there were no statistically significant differences in the incidence rates of postoperative complications and the overall incidence rate(P>0.05).At 1 year after surgery, there were no statistically significant differences in the recurrence rate and survival rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion LNSS for patients with stage T2 renal cancer is beneficial to the postoperative recovery, and is beneficial to the recovery of renal function and the improvement of prognosis.
