Abstract:Objective To explore the value of combined detection of serum neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),C-reactive protein(CRP),and serum amyloid A(SAA) in the short-term prognosis assessment of patients with bacterial pneumonia. Methods The clinical data of 86 confirmed patients were retrospectively analyzed and divided into a good prognosis group(71 cases) and a poor prognosis group(15 cases) based on prognosis.Patient data and laboratory test indicators were collected.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to screen independent risk factors, and receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves were drawn to evaluate the predictive efficacy of each indicator alone and in combination. Results The levels of serum NLR,CRP,and SAA in the poor prognosis group were significantly higher than those in the good prognosis group(P<0.05).Multivariate regression analysis showed that long hospital stay, high NLR,high CRP and high SAA were independent risk factors for poor short-term prognosis(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis indicated that the AUC of the combined prediction of NLR,CRP,and SAA was 0.963,with a sensitivity of 91.2%,which was higher than that of individual indicator detection. Conclusion Serum NLR,CRP and SAA levels are effective indicators for the short-term prognosis assessment of bacterial pneumonia. The combined detection of the three can significantly improve the predictive efficacy and provide a reference for early identification of high-risk patients and optimization of clinical intervention strategies.
