Abstract:Objective To analyze the effects of Xingnaojing injection on cerebral oxygen metabolism and serum cytokines after cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Methods 120 patients successfully treated with cardiopulmonary resuscitation in our hospital were randomly divided into experimental group and control group according to the random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The two groups were given routine Western medicine therapy, and experimental group was treated with Xingnaojing injection on this basis. The cerebral oxygen metabolism indexes [jugular vein blood oxygen saturation(SjvO2),cerebral oxygen uptake(ERO2),arterial-internal jugular vein blood oxygen content difference(Ca-jvO2)] and serum cytokines[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-10(IL-10),interleukin-6(IL-6),central nervous specific protein(S-100β)]at and after 72h of cardiac pulsation recoveryand the incidence rate of systemic inflammatory response syndrome(SIRS) were compared between the two groups. Results After 72h of cardiac pulsation recovery, the SjvO2 was increased in the two groups, but the index in experimental group was lower than that in control group, and the ERO2 and Ca-jvO2 were decreased, but the two indexes in experimental group were higher than those in control group(all P<0.05).The S-100β and IL-10 were increased while the TNF-α and IL-6 were decreased in experimental group, and the S-100β,IL-10,TNF-α and IL-6 all were increased in control group, and the S-100β,TNF-α and IL-6 in experimental group were lower than those in control group while the IL-10 was higher than that in control group(all P<0.05).The incidence rate of SIRS in experimental group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Xingnaojing injection after cardiopulmonary resuscitation can inhibit the body’s inflammatory response and reduce cerebral tissue reperfusion injury, and it is beneficial to the prognosis of patients.
