Abstract：Objective To observe the application value of carboprost tromethamine in preventing post-cesarean section hemorrhage（PPH）. Methods A total of 96 parturients who required cesarean section were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random numbering,with 48 cases in each group.The control group was treated with pituitary gland+misoprostol+oxytocin for prevention,and the observation group was treated with carprost tromethamine+oxytocin for prevention.After administration,observe and compare the time of the third stage of labor（T1）,hemostasis time（T2）,postoperative 2 h bleeding（V1）,postoperative 24 h bleeding（V2）,hemoglobin concentration（Hb）,anemia incidence（R1）,PPH incidence（R2）,adverse reaction incidence（R3）and prothrombin time（T3）of the two groups. Results T1,T2,T3 of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group（P<0.05）,V1,V2,R1,R2,and R3 were all lower than the control group（P<0.05）,and Hb was higher than the control group（P<0.05）. Conclusion Carprost tromethamine can effectively prevent the occurrence of PPH in cesarean section,improve blood coagulation function and reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions,and has clinical application value.
