Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effects of different surgical timings in the treatment of anklebone fracture disposition. Methods Eighty patients with anklebone fracture disposition who were treated in the hospital were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into early group and elective group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group.Early group underwent emergency surgery, and elective group underwent elective surgery. The differences in surgery and recovery(operative time, hospital stay, fracture healing time) were compared between the two groups. The ankle function [Baird-Jackson Function Score Scale,American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society(AOFAS)] and pain level [Numerical Rating Scale(NRS)] were compared between the two groups before surgery and at 6 months after surgery. The incidence rates of complications within 1 year after surgery were compared between the two groups. Results The operative time, hospital stay and fracture healing time in early group were significantly lower than those in elective group(P<0.05).At 6 months after surgery, the ankle function in the two groups was significantly improved compared with that before surgery, and the score in early group was higher than that in elective group at the same time point(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the pain level between the two groups(P>0.05).Within 1 year after surgery, there were no significant differences in the incidence rates of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Early surgery has shorter operative time than elective surgery, and it can promote the prognosis and recovery, and it has better effects on the ankle function recovery, and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
