Abstract:Objective To study the status quo of nerve development and early intervention of very low birth weight premature infants at the age of 1 year. Methods 120 premature infants with very low birth weight who were hospitalized in our hospital were selected as the research object. The follow-up time was 7-10 days after discharge and once every 40 weeks after correction of gestational age, once every month after correction of gestational age of 1-12 months, and the physical development of premature infants was evaluated. The Mental developmental index,MDI),mental motor developmental index(PDI)and neurological developmental impairment(NDI)of premature infants were observed by infant intelligence development. The status quo of Gesell nerve development and the incidence of neurological sequelae were counted. Results After the intervention, the incidence of NDI was 1.67% at 12 months after correction, which was lower than 7.50% at 6 months(P<0.05).The scores of PDI and MDI were higher than those of 6 months after correction(P<0.05).After the intervention, the scores of each index of Gesell's nerve development status of premature infants with corrected age of 12 months were higher than those of 6 months(P<0.05).The incidence of neurological sequelae was 3.33% at 12 months after correction, which was lower than 13.32% at 6 months(P<0.05).Conclusion Early intervention measures for low birth weight premature infants can promote the status quo of neurological development and behavioral development during their 1-year-old catch-up growth period, reduce neurological sequelae, improve their prognosis, actively take intervention measures, and strengthen nutrition guidance to promote the healthy development of children.
