| Clinical Effect of Different Medium Acting Glucocorticoids on Nasal polyps with Allergic Rhinitis after Operation |

Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical effect of different medium acting glucocorticoids on nasal polyps with allergic rhinitis after operation.Methods 90 patients with nasal polyps combined with allergic rhinitis were selected as the research objects,and randomly divided into two groups of 45 patients in each group.The patients in the two groups were treated with medium acting glucocorticoid after operation.The control group was treated with prednisone,and the observation group was treated with methylprednisolone.The therapeutic effect,bleeding rate,olfactory function score and airway resistance of the two groups were compared.Results There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups（P>0.05）.The postoperative bleeding rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group（P<0.05）;The scores of olfactory function and airway resistance in the two groups were significantly lower than those in the control group（P<0.05）.Conclusion Both prednisone and methylprednisolone can improve the therapeutic effect in patients with nasal polyps and allergic rhinitis after surgery,but methylprednisolone can reduce the incidence of postoperative bleeding,promote the repair of nasal mucosa,improve the olfactory function of patients,and reduce airway resistance,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
