Application of Combined Detection of Brain Natriuretic Peptide and Urinary Microalbumin/Creatinine Ratio in the Diagnosis of Heart Failure |

Abstract Objective To analyze the efficacy of combined detection of brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)and urinary microalbumin/creatinine ratio(UACR)in the diagnosis of heart failure. Method A retrospective analysis was conducted on 74 patients with heart failure who were included in the observation group.Additionally,68 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations at our hospital during the same period were included in the control group.Venous blood was collected from the two groups,and the differences in BNP and UACR were measured and compared;Draw a receiver operating curve(ROC)to analyze the efficacy of combining BNP and UACR in diagnosing heart failure.The results showed that the BNP and UACR of the observation group were(145.79±8.67)pg/mL and(36.89±4.47)mg/g,which were higher than those of the control group(76.21±6.05)pg/mL and(24.53±2.21)mg/g,with a statistical difference(P<0.05);The ROC results showed that the area under the curve(AUC)of the combined detection of BNP and UACR was 0.914(95% CI:0.864~0.965),which was higher than the 0.870(95% CI:0.807~0.932)and 0.820(95% CI:0.743~0.897)detected by the two alone. Conclusion BNP and UACR are abnormally high expressed in the body of patients with heart failure.The combination of the two can effectively diagnose heart failure and has high clinical application value,which can be vigorously promoted.
