| Observation on Curative Effect of Ultrasound-Guided Percutaneous Puncture Catheter Drainage on PPC and Recurrence rate |

Abstract Objective To study curative effect of ultrasound-guided percutaneous puncture catheter drainage（PPCD）on the elderly with pancreatic pseudocysts（PPC）and recurrence rate.Methods The clinical data of 50 elderly PPC patients who were diagnosed were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment methods,they were divided into study group（28 cases）and control group（22 cases）.The former underwent ultrasound-guided PPCD,while the latter underwent routine open drainage.The curative effect,perioperative indexes and complications were compared between the two groups.Follow-up was performed after six months of surgery.The recurrence situations of patients were statistically analyzed.Results The operation time and hospitalization time in study group were significantly shorter than those in control group（P<0.05）.There was no significant difference in recurrence rates between the two groups（P>0.05）.The incidence of complications in study group was significantly lower than that in control group（7.14% vs 36.36%,P<0.05）.The curative effect of study group was significantly better than that of control group（96.43% vs 77.27,P<0.05）.Conclusion The application of ultrasound-guided PPCD in elderly PPC patients can significantly shorten operation time and recovery time,improve curative effect,reduce complications,with low recurrence rate.
