| Effect of Yiqi Tongmai Decoction on Cardiac Function and Inflammatory Response in Patients With Coronary Heart Disease and Heart Failure |

Abstract Objective To analyze the effect of Yiqi Tongmai Decoction on cardiac function and inflammatory response in patients with coronary heart disease and heart failure(HF).Methods 186 patients with HF were selected and randomly divided into traditional Chinese medicine group(n=93)and Western medicine group(n=93).The western medicine group was given conventional western medicine treatment,on the basis of the western medicine group,the Chinese medicine group was given Yiqi Tongmai Decoction.The efficacy and cardiac function(LVEF,LVEDD)and serum inflammatory factor levels(IL-6,TNF-α)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.The efficacy and cardiac function(LVEF,LVEDD)and serum inflammatory factor levels(IL-6,TNF-α)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of TCM group was 94.62%(88/93)higher than that of Western medicine group(75.57% (70/93)(P<0.05);after treatment,LVEF level in TCM group was higher than that in western medicine group,LVEDd level was lower(P<0.05);after treatment,serum IL-6 and TNF - α levels in TCM group were lower than those in western medicine group(P<0.05).Conclusion On the basis of western medicine treatment of HF patients with coronary heart disease,Yiqi Tongmai Decoction has a significant effect,which can reduce inflammation and improve heart function.
