AbstractObjective To investigate the clinical effect of different doses of IVIG in the treatment of children with Kawasaki disease(KD).Methods 40 children with KD were divided into two groups,20 cases in each group. The experimental group was treated with intravenous injection of 2g/kg IVIG,while the reference group was treated with intravenous injection of 1g/kg IVIG.Results The improvement time of fever, rash, lymphadenectasis, hand and foot swelling and mucosal congestion in the experimental group was less than that in the control group(P<0.05);After treatment,WBC,PLT,CRP and ESR of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the incidence of WBC,PLT,CRP,ESR and CAL between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Daily use of 2g/kg IVIG in the treatment of children with KD can reduce fever in a short period of time, and has a positive effect on the disappearance of skin rash, improvement of mucosal congestion, and detumescence of hands and feet.
