Abstract:Objective To explore the psychological elasticity of patients with multiple myeloma(MM)and its influencing factors. Methods A total of 240 patients with multiple myeloma were selected as the research objects.Mental resilience was assessed according to the Chinese Version of the Mental Resilience Scale(CD-RISC),and logistic regression was used to analyze the factors affecting the resilience of the patients. Results The mental resilience score of the patients was tenacity(35.52±3.23),self-reliance(24.42±3.62),optimism(12.25±1.16),and the total score was(72.19±3.45);A total of 240 questionnaires were distributed and 210 were recovered,with a recovery rate of 87.50%,The patient’s age,course of illness,and medical insurance type have nothing to do with the patient’s mental flexibility(P>0.05),The patient's gender,place of residence,marital status,occupational status,education level,income status,children's status,support for the elderly,hypertension,diabetes,hemoglobin,and blood creatinine are related to the patient's mental elasticity(P<0.05);The patient’s gender,place of residence,marital status,occupational status,education level,income status,children’s status,support for the elderly,hypertension,diabetes,hemoglobin,and serum creatinine are independent risk factors that affect the patient’s mental elasticity(P<0.05). Conclusion MM patients have low psychological flexibility.In nursing care,we should pay attention to unemployed men with rural education,low income,many or no children,more support for the elderly,many underlying diseases,unmarried or widowed men who are unemployed,and provide medical solutions based on the patient’s situation.,Strengthen the care and attention to the patients,and improve the patients' bad mood.
