Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of ginkgo diterpene lactone meglumine injection combined with acupuncture on limb function recovery and serum homocysteine(Hcy)and D-dimer (D-D)levels in patients with hemiplegia after stroke. Methods A total of 84 patients with hemiplegia after stroke were selected as subjects and randomLy divided into a drug group and a drug-acupuncture group with 42 cases in each group according to the enveloperandom method.Patients in the drug group were treated with conventional treatment and ginkgo diterpene lactone meglumine injection, and patients in the drug-acupuncture group were treated with acupuncture on this basis. The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores, limb motor function[Fugl-Meyer Assessment Scale(FMA)],daily self-care ability[Modified Barthel Index(MBI)],and nerve defect[National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)]of the two groups of patients after treatment were compared. The changes of hemorheological indexes[whole blood viscosity, fibrinogen(Fib),hematocrit(HCT),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)],high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(Hs-CRP),Hcy,and D-D levels of the two groups of patients before and after treatment were observed. Results After treatment,it was observed that the TCM syndrome scores of both groups decreased, but the decreasing trend in the drug-acupuncture group was more significant than that in the drug group(P<0.05);the upper-limb FMA score,lower-limb FMA score, and MBI score all showed an increasing trend, but the increasing trend in the drug-acupuncture group was greater than that in the drug group(P<0.05);the NIHSS score,high-shear whole-blood viscosity,low-shear whole-blood viscosity,Fib,HCT,ESR levels,Hs-CRP,Hcy,and D-D levels of the two groups all showed a decreasing trend, but the decreasing trend in the drug-acupuncture group was greater than that in the drug group(P≤0.05). Conclusion Ginkgo diterpene lactone meglumine injection combined with acupuncture treatment can reduce nerve function damage in patients with hemiplegia after stroke, restore limb function more quickly, improve hemorheology and reduce inflammation, which is beneficial to improving the prognosis.
