Abstract:Objective To study the relationship between the adverse maternal and infant outcomes of pregnant women with diabetes in the middle and late stages and the level of serum glucagon like peptide-1(GLP-1)expression.Methods 104 cases of pregnant women with diabetes in the middle and late stages of pregnancy were selected as research objects, and the incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes was analyzed. The correlation between the expression of GLP-1 in serum of pregnant women with diabetes in the middle and late stages of pregnancy and adverse maternal and infant outcomes was analyzed. Results Among 104 cases of gestational diabetes in the middle and late stages,19 cases had macrosomia,12 cases had fetal distress,11 cases had neonatal asphyxia,4 cases had placental abruption, and 3 cases had premature rupture of membranes. The incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes was 47.12%(49/104);The level of GLP-1 in patients with poor maternal and infant outcomes was lower than that in patients with good maternal and infant outcomes, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Logistic regression analysis showed that the low level of GLP-1 expression was the influencing factor for the poor maternal and infant outcomes of pregnant women with diabetes in the middle and late stages(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusion The low level of serum GLP-1 expression in patients with diabetes in the middle and late pregnancy can increase the risk of adverse maternal and infant outcomes. Therefore, reasonable measures can be taken to monitor and regulate the dynamic balance of blood glucose in patients,so as to promote the return of GLP-1 expression to normal, which has positive significance for improving maternal and infant outcomes in patients with diabetes in the middle and late pregnancy.
