Abstract：The research progress of integrated Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of viral pneumonia has revealed its multiple mechanisms in improving patients' immune function,regulating inflammatory response and alleviating symptoms.By integrating the holistic concept of traditional Chinese medicine with the modern treatment methods of Western medicine,this combination model not only improves the treatment effect,but also effectively reduces side effects and promotes the rapid recovery of patients.The significance of this study is that it provides a new way of thinking for the treatment of viral pneumonia,emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration,provides a more comprehensive and personalized treatment plan for clinical practice,and promotes the application and development of integrated Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of respiratory diseases.This article discusses the clinical characteristics of viral pneumonia,the basic principles of integrated treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,the mechanism of Western medicine treatment,the mechanism of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment,and the synergistic effect of integrated Chinese and Western medicine,in order to guide the development of related work.
