Abstract:Objective To study the correlation between neonatal physiological diarrhea and breast milk fat content.Methods 100 healthy primiparas who were delivered were selected as subjects.The fat content and blood lipid level(TG,TC)of breast milk were measured at 3~5d,14d and 30d after delivery.Investigate the occurrence of neonatal physiological diarrhea.Neonates with physiological diarrhea were seen as observation group(n=50),and neonates without physiological diarrhea were seen as control group(n=50).Compare the fat content of breast milk in the two groups and analyze the relationship between breast fat content and blood lipid level.Results The incidence of physiological diarrhea in foremilk stage neonates was 41.00%,the incidence of physiological diarrhea in transitional period neonates was 20.00%,and the incidence of physiological diarrhea in mature neonates was 18.00%.The breast milk fat content in the foremilk stage,transitional period and mature lactation of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in maternal TC and TG levels between the transitional and mature lactation(P>0.05).There was no correlation between TC and TG levels in the transitional and mature lactation periods(P>0.05).Conclusion The incidence of physiological diarrhea in neonates is gradually decreased with the increase of breast milk fat content,and it is positively correlated with TC and TG levels in colostrum.
