Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects and adverse reactions of calcium carbonate D3 particles in improving bone mineral density in children with nutritional rickets.Methods The clinical data of 76 children with nutritional rickets admitted were retrospectively analyzed, and the children were divided into study group(n=35) and control group(n=31) according to treatment methods.The study group was treated with calcium carbonate D3 particles, the control group was treated with calcium gluconate vitamin D2 chewable tablets(II),and were contiously treated for 12 weeks.The treatment effective rate, tibia bone density before and after treatment, and the adverse reactions ratebetween the two groups were compared.Results The treatment effective rate of in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the after treatment tibia bone density level in the study group was also higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).The after treatment tibia bone mineral density of the 2 groups were higher than those of before treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the adverse reactions rate between the 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Calcium carbonate D3 particles can effectively improve the bone density and therapeutic effect of children with nutritional rickets, which is safe and reliable.
