Abstract:Objective To observe the efficacy of rectal administration of ibuprofen mixed solution on infantile febrile convulsion. Methods A total of 64 children patients with febrile convulsion were selected. All children patients were divided into control group and study group according to the random number table method, with 32 cases in each group.Control group were given ibuprofen and diazepam intramuscular injection on the basis of conventional treatment, and the study group were given ibuprofen mixed solution for rectal administration Control group was given conventional drugs and physical hypothermia, and study group was given rectal administration of ibuprofen mixed solution on the basis of control group. The treatment effects, and serum related indicators [neuron-specific enolase(NSE)and S-100β protein] were compared between the two groups, and the occurrence of adverse reactions, fever recurrence and convulsion recurrence were recorded in the two group. Results After treatment, the total effective rate in study group was higher than that in control group(93.75% vs 75.00%)(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of NSE and S-100β in the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above-mentioned indexes in study group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The total incidence rate of adverse reactions and recurrence rates of fever and convulsions in study group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05). Conclusion For infantile febrile convulsion, rectal administration of ibuprofen mixed solution has significant treatment effects, reduce the serum NSE and S-100β protein, with low adverse reaction rate, but can also reduce the recurrence of fever and convulsions in children patients, with good clinical application value.
