Effects of Sequential Therapy of Budesonide Combined With Azithromycin on Levels of Serum IFN-γ and MCP-4 in Children Patients With MPP |

Abstract Objective To explore the effects of sequential therapy of budesonide combined with azithromycin on levels of serum IFN-γ and MCP-4 in MMP children patients. Methods A clinically controlled study was used to collect 132 MMP children patients,and they were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 66 cases in each group.The children patients were all given symptomatic treatments such as regular cough relief and asthma relief,and the control group was given azithromycin sequential therapy,and the observation group was given sequential therapy of azithromycin combined with budesonide.The efficacy of the two treatment method was compared,and the changes of serum IFN-γ and MCP-4 levels were detected before and after treatment. Results The normal temperature recovery time,cough disappearance time and normal chest radiograph time were(4.1±0.8)d,(6.7±2.2)d and(8.8±3.4)d in the observation group,which were significantly lower than those in the control group with(4.5±1.3)d,(7.8±2.7)d and(10.5±3.6)d(P<0.05).The levels of IFN-γ and MCP-4 after treatment were(14.3±2.8)ng/L and(26.3±5.4)pg/mL in the observation group,which were significantly lower than those in the control group with(17.5±4.7)ng/L and(32.7±7.2)pg/mL(P<0.05). Conclusion Sequential therapy of budesonide combined with azithromycin can significantly reduce the levels of serum IFN-γ and MCP-4,and promote the health recovery of children patients with MMP.
