Abstract:Objective To explore the core perinatal risk factors and disease outcome analysis of hospitalized premature infants in Qiongnan region. Methods A retrospective cohort study was conducted, including 80 premature infants admitted to our hospital from December 2023 to February 2025.The mothers' pregnancy conditions, neonatal clinical characteristics, complications, and developmental outcomes up to the corrected age of 12 months were analyzed. Results 92.5%(74/80) of the mothers had at least one high-risk factor. The most significant high-risk factors were premature rupture of membranes in 23 cases(28.7%),gestational diabetes in 17 cases(21.2%),and gestational hypertension in 16 cases(20%).Low birth weight accounted for 90%(72/80),and respiratory system complications had the highest incidence(60.00%).The follow-up showed that 13.89%(10/72) of the children had early neurodevelopmental abnormalities.Multivariate analysis suggested that birth weight<1.5 kg,gestational age<32 weeks, maternal concurrent gestational hypertension, and gestational diabetes were independent risk factors for developmental abnormalities. Conclusion Gestational hypertension, diabetes, and premature rupture of membranes are the main high-risk factors for premature birth in Qiongnan region.Targeted perinatal management and systematic follow-up are necessary.
