Application of Combined Detection of Serum SAA,CRP and NLR Levels in the Prognostic Evaluation of Patients with Bacterial Pneumonia in the Short Term
Wang Yiting, Lin Shenghua
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1001-8131.2026.04.001
Objective
To explore the value of combined detection of serum neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),C-reactive protein(CRP),and serum amyloid A(SAA) in the short-term prognosis assessment of patients with bacterial pneumonia.
Methods
The clinical data of 86 confirmed patients were retrospectively analyzed and divided into a good prognosis group(71 cases) and a poor prognosis group(15 cases) based on prognosis.Patient data and laboratory test indicators were collected.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to screen independent risk factors, and receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves were drawn to evaluate the predictive efficacy of each indicator alone and in combination.
Results
The levels of serum NLR,CRP,and SAA in the poor prognosis group were significantly higher than those in the good prognosis group(
P<
0.05).Multivariate regression analysis showed that long hospital stay, high NLR,high CRP and high SAA were independent risk factors for poor short-term prognosis(
P<
0.05).ROC curve analysis indicated that the AUC of the combined prediction of NLR,CRP,and SAA was 0.963,with a sensitivity of 91.2%,which was higher than that of individual indicator detection.
Conclusion
Serum NLR,CRP and SAA levels are effective indicators for the short-term prognosis assessment of bacterial pneumonia. The combined detection of the three can significantly improve the predictive efficacy and provide a reference for early identification of high-risk patients and optimization of clinical intervention strategies.

Zhang Ya, Du Tingting
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1001-8131.2026.04.002
Objective
Contrare the efficacy and safety of different surgical modalities for traumatic osteomyelitis.
Methods
Selected 160 patients with traumatic osteomyelitis admitted to our hospital from June 2024 to June 2025,divided technique, drainage technique,Ilizarov bone handling technique, and negative pressure closed drainage;the changes of inflammatory factors,AOFAS score and Iowa knee score were detected, and the incidence of complications and clinical efficacy were evaluated.
Results
AOFAS score, and Iowa knee score were higher in the drainage group(
P
<0.05);TNF- α,CRP levels were decreased,and statistically significant(
P
<0.05).
Conclusion
The effect of negative pressure sealing drainage is better than that of Ilizarov bone handling technology, which can effectively reduce the occurrence of complications and promote rapid postoperative recovery. However, fewer pathological samples in this paper are included, which leads to some limitations in the study, and further increasing the sample size is needed to confirm the multi-center study.

Dong Lei, Xu Quanxiao, Wang Bo, Xu Fangfang
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1001-8131.2026.04.004
Objective
To investigate the correlation between the molecular expression of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and insulin sensitivity in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).
Methods
Sixty PCOS patients who visited our hospital from January 2024 to January 2025 were selected as the PCOS group, and 30 healthy women who underwent physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group. The differences in the protein and mRNA expression levels of key molecules in the PI3K/AKT pathway(PI3K,AKT,insulin receptor substrate-1(IRS-1),and GLUT4) in peripheral blood mononuclear cells were detected and compared between the two groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between the molecular expression level of the PI3K/AKT pathway and insulin sensitivity indicators.
Results
Patients in the PCOS group had higher FBG,2hPG,FINS,and HOMA-IR than the control group, while their ISI and glucose uptake were lower(
P<
0.05).The protein and mRNA expression levels of PI3K,AKT,IRS-1,and GLUT4 in the PCOS group were lower than those in the control group(
P<
0.05).The protein and mRNA expression levels of PI3K,AKT,IRS-1,and GLUT4 were positively correlated with glucose uptake and ISI(
P<
0.05),and negatively correlated with HOMA-IR(
P<
0.05).
Conclusion
Downregulation of PI3K/AKT pathway molecules in ovarian granulosa cells of PCOS patients is closely related to insulin resistance.

DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1001-8131.2026.04.008
Objective
To investigate the long-term efficacy of adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery in patients with stage IB-IIA cervical cancer and potential risk factors for recurrence, and to analyze the prognostic factors.
Methods
A retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of 162 patients with stage IB-IIA cervical cancer and potential risk factors for recurrence admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to January 2022.All patients underwent radical hysterectomy.Patients were divided into a chemotherapy group(n=89) and a control group(n=73) based on whether they received adjuvant chemotherapy after surgery. The chemotherapy group received adjuvant chemotherapy with paclitaxel combined with cisplatin, while the control group received only routine follow-up.A 3-year follow-up was conducted, and the progression-free survival(PFS) rate and overall survival(OS) rate of the two groups were recorded in detail.Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the relevant factors affecting the long-term prognosis of the patients.
Results
After 3 years of follow-up,the PFS rate in the chemotherapy group was 84.27%(75/89),and the OS rate was 87.60%(78/89),while the PFS rate in the control group was 63.01%(46/73),and the OS rate was 75.34%(55/73).The 3-year PFS and OS rates in the chemotherapy group were significantly higher than those in the control group(
P<

Xu Jingyuan, Liu Qiang, Zhao Aobo
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1001-8131.2026.04.009
Objective
To evaluate the efficacy of a combined 3D-VIBE dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI quantitative parameter model in the differential diagnosis of epithelial ovarian cancer.
Methods
A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical and imaging data of patients with pathologically confirmed epithelial ovarian tumors admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2025.Based on pathological examination results,100 patients were divided into a benign epithelial ovarian tumor group(benign group,n=40) and an epithelial ovarian cancer group(malignant group,n=60).All patients underwent routine MRI and 3D-VIBE dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI scans preoperatively.Quantitative parameters were compared between the two groups, and a combined quantitative parameter model was constructed.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves were plotted to evaluate the differential diagnostic efficacy of single quantitative parameters and the combined model.
Results
The levels of Ktrans,Kep,and MS in the malignant group were higher than those in the benign group, while the levels of TTP and Ve were lower in the malignant group(all
P<
0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the five quantitative parameters(Ktrans,Kep,Ve,MS,and TTP) were closely related to the incidence of epithelial ovarian cancer(
P<
0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the AUCs for the combined diagnosis of epithelial ovarian cancer by the five parameters(Ktrans,Kep,Ve,MS,and TTP) were 0.548,0.716,0.825,0.774,and 0.904,respectively.Z-tests showed that the combined diagnostic efficacy was higher than that of the individual parameters(Z=7.753,12.656,2.992,4.229,and 23.212,all
P<
0.05).
Conclusion
The 3D-VIBE dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI quantitative parameter combined model(Ktrans,Kep,Ve,MS,TTP) can effectively integrate the diagnostic information of multiple quantitative parameters, which helps to improve the differential diagnosis efficacy between epithelial ovarian cancer and benign epithelial ovarian tumors. Its sensitivity and specificity are higher than those of single-parameter diagnosis.

DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1001-8131.2026.04.010
Objective
To investigate the clinical efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions of anti-infective drugs combined with glucocorticoids in the treatment of children with severe pneumonia in pediatric emergency, and to provide a reference for optimizing clinical treatment regimens.
Methods
A total of 90 children with severe pneumonia admitted to the pediatric emergency department of our hospital from July 2025 to December were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 45 cases in each group using a random number table method. The control group was treated with anti-infective drugs alone, while the observation group was treated with glucocorticoids on the basis of the control group. Both groups completed standardized treatment and follow-up.The disappearance time of clinical symptoms and signs, laboratory inflammatory indicators before and after treatment, absorption of pulmonary lesions, respiratory function indicators, clinical efficacy, length of hospital stay and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.
Results
The disappearance time of fever, cough, dyspnea and absorption time of pulmonary rales in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(
P<
0.05).After treatment, the peripheral blood white blood cell count(WBC),C-reactive protein(CRP) and procalcitonin(PCT) in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the levels of each indicator in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(
P<
0.05).The complete absorption rate of pulmonary lesions in the observation group(71.11%) was significantly higher than that in the control group(40.00%)(
P<
0.05).After treatment,the blood oxygen saturation(SpO
2
),forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in the first second(FEV
1
) and FEV
1
/FVC in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group(
P<
0.05).The total clinical effective rate and clinical cure rate in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(
P<
0.05),and the length of hospital stay was significantly shorter than that in the control group(
P<
0.05).The adverse reactions in both groups were mainly mild to moderate gastrointestinal reactions and electrolyte disturbances, with no severe adverse reactions occurred. There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group(11.11%) and the control group(15.56%)(
P>
0.05).
Conclusion
Anti-infective drugs combined with glucocorticoids in the treatment of children with severe pneumonia in pediatric emergency can rapidly relieve clinical symptoms, effectively reduce inflammatory indicators, promote the absorption of pulmonary lesions and the recovery of respiratory function, improve clinical efficacy and shorten the length of hospital stay. Moreover, standardized medication does not increase the risk of adverse reactions with good medication safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.

Objective
To explore the practical effect of drug warehouse implementation of "code scanning warehousing+traceability management" mode, and to provide reference for optimizing drug traceability management system.
Methods
Taking the hospital's drug warehouse as the research object,a comparative analysis was conducted on the data changes in three dimensions:warehousing efficiency, error rate, and traceability code data upload before and after the application of the drug traceability management system.A month-on-month analysis method was adopted for data evaluation.
Results
Compared with the traditional warehousing mode, the introduction of the drug traceability management system has significantly improved the efficiency of drug warehousing(
P<
0.05),greatly reduced the error rate of warehousing(
P<
0.05),and ensured the real-time and accuracy of the data upload of drug traceability codes and the issuance by pharmacists.
Conclusion
The application of the drug scanning code traceability management system optimizes the work process of the drug warehouse and significantly improves the information management level of the drug warehouse traceability system.
