Abstract:Objective To explore the relationship between quantitative parameters of 18F- fluorodeoxyglucose(18F-FDG)PET-CT and pulmonary function of patients with idiopathic interstitial pneumonia(IIP).Methods 25 patients with IIP diagnosed and treated in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed as the observation group, and 25 patients with normal lung function in the same period were selected as the control group. The general data such as gender, age and course of disease were compared between the two groups. The quantitative parameters of PET-CT in patients with different lung function levels were compared, and Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between the quantitative parameters of PET-CT and the severity of lung function. Results There was no significant difference in general data of sex, age, course of disease, body mass index(BMI),smoking history and education level between the two groups(P>0.05).The forced expiratory volume per second(FEV1%)decreases,the smaller PaO2 is,the higher the lung function grade(GOLD)is.The larger the maximum diameter of the lesion, the smaller the maximum standard uptake value(SUVmaxP<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that the maximum diameter of lesions was negatively correlated with PaO2 and FEV1%,positively correlated with GOLD(P<0.05),and SUVmaxwas positively correlated with FEV1% and PaO2,negatively correlated with GOLD(P<0.05).Conclusion The quantitative parameters of PET-CT,such as the maximum lesion diameter and SUVmax, are related to the lung function of IIP patients, and clinicians can evaluate the progress of the disease.
